Emotional Freedom Techniques

Below is the Basic EFT Recipe including several points that I find very effective in balancing the energy flow within the body.

1. The Setup:

 

Repeat 3 times the affirmation:

“Even though I have this__________________________ (fear of heights), I deeply and completely accept myself.”

While continuously tapping the Karate Chop point (located on the little finger side of the hand).

Take several deep breaths.

2. The Sequence:

Tap about 7 times on each of the following energy points while repeating the Reminder Phrase (fear of heights) at each point. Then take several deep breaths.

 

Option: After collarbone tap in a counterclockwise direction around Thymus Gland.

3. The 9 Gamut Procedure: 

Continuously tap on the Gamut point (top of hand between the little and ring finger) while performing each of these 9 actions:

Eyes closed – Eyes open – Eyes hard down right – Eyes hard down left – Roll eyes in circle – Roll eyes in other direction – Hum 2 seconds of a song – Count to 5 – Hum 2 seconds of a song.

Or visualize a negative scene as you tap and raise eyes slowly from floor to ceiling.

Take several deep breaths.

4. Repeat the Sequence: 

Tap about 7 times on each of the following energy points while repeating the Reminder Phrase (fear of heights) at each point.

EB, SE, UE, UN, CH, CB, UA, UB, FS

Take several deep breaths

To clear the remaining intensity on a problem in subsequent rounds, repeat the process with the following affirmation:

"Even though I still have some ____________,

I deeply and completely accept myself."

Reminder Phrase is changed to "remaining _______(fear of heights)"
